Discover your genetic ancestry with our advanced Chromosome Analysis nMonte tool. ๐งฌ This powerful analysis provides a detailed breakdown of your genetic makeup on a chromosome-by-chromosome basis, helping you uncover deep ancestral roots and hidden genetic connections.
๐ Continental Breakdown Analysis: This section analyzes your genetic data and categorizes it into major continental groups. If one group makes up over 70% of your DNA, it's considered dominant. More balanced percentages indicate mixed ancestry.
๐งฌ nMonte Autosomal Analysis for Each Chromosome: Each chromosome is analyzed separately using thresholds of 1%, 5%, and 10% to detect both major and minor ancestries. Interactive charts and a map highlight your genetic influences at the chromosomal level. The map visualizes the geographic match for the 1% threshold.
๐ฅ 10 Most Similar Populations (Euclidean Distance): For every chromosome, we display the top 10 populations most genetically similar to your DNA. These are sorted by Euclidean distance โ the smaller the distance, the closer the genetic match.
โ๏ธ Optimal Admixture Combinations: We calculate optimal mixes of 2, 3, and 4 reference populations that best represent your genetic data. These combinations help reveal subtle ancestral patterns not visible in simpler matches.
๐บ๏ธ Chromosomal Heat Map: This interactive map displays the geographic locations of the closest matching populations for each of your chromosomes. Each point represents the best-matching population per chromosome. Clusters of points generate areas of higher intensity (yellow, orange, red), highlighting likely regions of ancestral origin based on genetic similarity In cas eof mixed ancestry two heatmaps are created for each parental component.
๐ Principal Component Analysis (PCA): PCA simplifies complex genetic data into two main components. Red dots represent your chromosomes, and blue dots represent reference populations. Clusters and outliers help interpret genetic similarities and unique traits.
For GEDmatch, go to the Admixture (Heritage) section, select the projet "Eurogenes", then choose "Admixture Proportions by Chromosome" and click "Continue". Then enter your kit number, and specifically choose "Eurogenes K36." Click "Continue" and wait for results and then copy and paste the entire table.
In Admixture Studio (PRO version 2.52 - the newest), switch the Analysis Mode in the top right corner to "By Chromosome," then run the K36 calculator on your raw data. In the results, select "Table" and use the "Copy" button (not "Copy Only Values"โwe need the component names as well).
Important - form doesn't support raw data upload, if you don't know how to get your K36 results, contact us at contact@lm-genetics.com and we'll assist you.To generate the K36 Chromosomal Analysis, please pay a one-time fee of 15 USD.
